Tanya has been painting professionally for 14 years and last year published her first book titled "It's your life ~ Your Adventure ~ Your choice".
"The book is about finding some direction and setting a plan. Most people long for something better but don't know exactly what they want. The book helps readers to discover what they want, why they want it and gives them some strategies for how to get it."
"I wrote the book for women initially, but many of my readers have been men. One of my readers described the book as 'The Four Hour Work Week meets Chicken Soup for the Soul'. I've drawn on my background in business planning and presented the concepts as a series of short stories as metaphors for the principles that follow. It's a fun book and I hope it helps others to achieving their goals"
Tanya lives in Brisbane, Australia and between painting, writing and her other businesses, she is also mother to her two young sons, Dominic and Elijah.
"I think I learn more from my children than they will ever learn from me. There are some things you forget when you grow up and get caught up in the day to day of responsibility. My boys are the centre of my universe and they make me very proud. Being a mother has taught me so much. I have so much respect for anyone who fills the position of 'just a mum'.
Tanya's other interests include, Real Estate, Investing, Business Planning, Marketing, Altertive Energy and her lifelong quest to one day have her own action figure.
