A fine example of creating something to help others from a place nobody should ever find themselves
Congratulations to Cathy Jayne Pearce on her new book. Have a read of her blog and visit her site. www.richestorags.com.au
The Oracle of Kenny
Op Shopping and Free Stuff
I've always loved Op Shopping and visiting antique stores. Several weeks ago whilst shopping for a wedding present, I took my boys to the Woolongabba Antique Centre. Oh my, what an adventure! (yes, we speak like Enid Blyton in our family...'marvellous' and 'adventure' are an integral part of the daily vocabulary). We spent half the day there. My boys have since enjoyed spotting antiques and it's become quite the family passtime.
Impressionist Paintings look better from farther away
This year has been a very busy and unusual one for both myself and my family.
When we go through difficult times, we become tense and it often feels like we're swimming against the tide, and sometimes when our worst fears come true and everything collapses in a heap, we find that it's not half as bad as we'd imagined it to be.
The New Look
Welcome to my new site.
I've been meaning to redevelop my site for a couple of months and finally got around to giving the site a little facelift.
I changed the sie for several reasons. Some of the content and articles were better on their own websites and I have decided to change the focus of this site to my artwork and my book and various other musings of a more personal interest.
